Features

Metallic Material Analysis and Testing: Osung MND has secured a technology to analyze basic materials necessary for production. This is a technology to extract basic data by analyzing tissue structures and dimensions, mechanical properties, and chemical reactions. Based on this technology, the company selects suitable materials and designs the process.

Cutting and Grinding: Osung MND conducts cutting and grinding operations using a CNC composite lathe and an internally manufactured machine respectively. Realizing cutting tolerance with precision by at least 3/1000mm using the advanced facilities, the company has also internally developed a technology to grind complicated shapes, such as of curette.

Plastic Processing and Mold Manufacturing: Osung MND is equipped with press plastic processing and mold manufacturing technologies, which are essential for mass production. Based on the internal technological power, the company has developed, and applies the latest production techniques including 3D modeling, progressive, and transfer.

Surface Processing: Osung MND is building technological expertise specialized to treating metal surfaces for special purposes, such as anodizing, electro-polishing, passivation, coating, and plating.

Heat Treatment: Osung MND conducts in-depth studies on heat treatment, one of the key elements of dental instrument manufacturing. The company has secured the Korea’s top-tier heat treatment technological power, and is striving to improve it to a global level.

Diamond Bonding: Osung MND has secured technologies for diamond powder bonding in addition to dental diamond bur pro- duction. The company has also developed a technology specialized to precision bonding, and is independently operating the facility.
