Following its conversion to a corporation (Dong Bo Tech Co., Ltd.) in 2010, the company relocated its plant to Asan, Chungcheongnam-do. In 2017, it changed its business from the manufacturing of internal combustion engine parts to electric vehicle parts.
Accordingly, the company has designed and manufactured the battery cooling plate press parts, the key parts for electric vehicles. The company is equipped with the source press technology through patent registration and design analysis for large-scale press manufacturing technology with battery cooling plates.
The company’s cooling plate has been applied to mass production of such electric vehicle models as Ioniq, Kona, and Nio. The company’s sales have continuously increased since 2018. In the mid to long-term, Dong Bo Tech aims to achieve annual sales of KRW 100 billion by 2030 by securing new customers and implementing new investments.
