Samhwa Crown, Korea’s first bottle cap manufacturer, produces bottle caps in various types used for food, beverage, and liquor products. Established in 1965, the company has won recognition for its technological excellence in the domestic and international markets. Having been designated as the first maker of bottle cap of tax payment in 1972, Samhwa Crown exported bottle caps as the first in Korea in 1977. 

The company’s plants located around the country were integrated to Ansan Plant in 1997. In 2010, it was transferred to Kumbi Group, and therefore secured a foothold for advancement as a general packaging maker. As such, Samhwa Crown is leading advancement of Korea’s packaging culture.

Crown Cap: The most common type bottle cap that is used for the general liquor and beverage bottles

ROPP Cap: Bottle cap in various shapes with beautiful designs to enhance the value of the products to which it is applied, suitable for the bottles of Soju, other alcoholic beverages, and nourishing tonics, no risk of rust formation

Plastic Cap: Available as heat-resistant, pressure-resistant, heat and pressure-resistant, and aseptic types, used for the bottles of beverages and spring water bottles

White Cap: Vacuum cap made in metal, enabling long-term preservation of food (3 ~ 5 years) without preservatives, ensuring safety as content of bottles is visible, and can be checked for deformation, fluted for convenient and easy use by children and the elderly

PT (Press-on Twist-off) Cap: Excellent sealing and sterilizing effect, widely used for the bottle of products sterilized in high temperature of 120°C or more, such as coffee and dairy products, performance verified internationally

Injection Cap: Production in various shapes possible as there are little limitations in design, first in Korea to develop CRC (child resistant closure) for targeting the safe bottle cap market, leading injection molding bottle cap market through the development of eco-friendly and recyclable hinge cap
